Initially scheduled on July 26, 2025, the TecHorizon Convention 2025 of the  North and Central Luzon Esports Council (NCLE) will now take place on August 16, 2025, at New Point Mall, Angeles City, Pampanga. The event was rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions, but the event will proceed, retaining the same programs and segments. 

The event is co-presented by Nepo Center, Newpoint, Estudyante Esports, Dark League Studios, and DEVCON Pampanga. The NCLE is a non-profit organization dedicated to the future and development of esports. Having partnered with multiple organizations across the region, they conduct events and encourage the youth to engage in fun social activities. 

With the theme “Empowering Youth Through Education, Innovation, and Esports,” the one-day Summit commences with interactive workshops and networking opportunities focused on exploring innovations, digital literacy, and the role of gaming and technology in the 21st century. Participants will explore interesting topics such as:

• Managing Esports as an Entertainment Ecosystem.     
•  The Power of Play: How Esports/Gaming Communities Are Rewiring Culture, Identity, and Influence.       
• The Future of Game Dev: AI, Procedural Design, and Tools of Tomorrow.       
• The Power of Play: How Card-Based Business Games Build Strategic Minds.

The TecHorizon Convention will feature booths from a range of tech and gaming-centered companies from the region. Names such as PaPan Games, Rogue’s Passage, and Bataan-based startup Shutterly, along with a few bite-and-brew stalls, will also be exhibiting at the event. Some activities in the event worth tuning into are the Spicy Noodle Eating Challenge by Mi Sedaap, Top Cafe’s Barista Challenge, and the MLBB tournament. 

The convention will offer free giveaways, in-game rewards, and exclusive prizes. Registration is free, but participants must be on-site between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the event day to sign up.
